For 15 minutes perform: 20 overhead plate hold lunges 15 plate sit ups 10 burpees over plate Some important notes about each movement! ✨ choose a challenging weight ONLY if you can safely lunge while in this overhead position. If you can’t maintain a neutral spine and find that you have to arch your lower back to get the weight fully overhead, then choose a lower weight or just hold the weight in front of you, hug it into your chest. ✨ I’m using an ab mat here under my lower back to create a better fulcrum to engage more lower abdominals. You don’t have to have one to do this though. ✨ think of the burpees as a “hip hinge” movement – not a squat, and not a push up. Efficient burpees start where you bend forward and fall (controlled) to the ground, then pop your hips up off the ground and stand upright.. hop onto the plate and go for rep #2.
