This is where you shift one foot in front of or behind the other so that your heel and toe of the opposite foot match up – it’s an offset stance to target one leg over another. I love adding them to traditional lifts because by targeting / focusing on one leg over the other you may begin to feel weaknesses or deficiencies – I did! It’s how I learned I was favoring my leg leg in squats and why my left knee has felt jacked up for … a longer time than I want to admit. This is key when learning about your body and how to move better for optimal gains and health! It’s also been a fun way to mix up my workouts a bit.
